Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai seeks a Tradesman (Kitchen Technician) to maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment across its luxury properties. You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced, guest‑focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in a similar UAE role, with strong knowledge of refrigeration, laundry and kitchen systems, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role in a Luxury Hotel or Healthcare environment in the UAE.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment maintenance and laundry equipment maintenance.
• Excellent stamina and endurance to handle heavy lifting and long hours standing/walking.
• Strong ability to work autonomously with proactive issue resolution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with team members and stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented with a hands‑on, can‑do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs all kitchen and laundry equipment with excellent craftsmanship.
• Upholds preventive maintenance and shift readings programmes for peak performance.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair equipment with meticulous attention to detail.
• Identify issues, develop efficient solutions and minimise downtime.
• Update equipment drawings, catalogue and daily log book with accurate documentation.
• Participate in Health & Safety, emergency response and training activities.
