Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is looking for a Steward to join our stewarding team in Dubai. You will help maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen areas, support banquet setup and breakdown, and ensure a seamless guest experience with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a similar role, strong English communication, and the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a similar steward/guest services role.
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to lift heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Arrives on time and presents a polished appearance per FIVE grooming standards.
• Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and workspaces.
• Assist in coordinating special requests to deliver a highly personalised guest experience.
• Support culinary and service teams with timely supply of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Handle waste disposal following established guidelines and maintain hygiene standards.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of banquets and events for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workload and service excellence.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to supervisors.
