Job summary

Chimera Steel Contracting LLC in the UAE is seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator for rafter and column work on industrial and commercial projects. You will fabricate and assemble structural steel components, interpret drawings, and ensure quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in structural steel fabrication, can read shop drawings, and are proficient with cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding. Safety-minded and physically fit for workshop or site work are essential.

Qualifications

• Rafter and column fabrication experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble structural steel members (rafters, columns, beams, trusses).
• Read and interpret fabrication and shop drawings and specs.
• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and align steel components.
• Perform tack welding and assist in assembly of structures.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and project specs.
• Operate fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace following procedures.

Steel Fabricator – Rafter and Column Work

We are looking for an experienced Steel Fabricator to fabricate and assemble structural steel components including rafters, columns, beams, and related steel structures for industrial and commercial projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Experience in rafter and column fabrication is mandatory.
• Ability to read fabrication and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding techniques.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fabrication workshop or construction site.
• GCC UAE experience is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble structural steel members such as rafters, columns, beams, and trusses.
