Job summary

Chimera Steel Contracting LLC in the UAE is seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator for rafter and column work on industrial and commercial projects. You will fabricate and assemble structural steel components, interpret drawings, and ensure quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in structural steel fabrication, can read shop drawings, and are proficient with cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding. Safety-minded and physically fit for workshop or site work are essential.

Qualifications

2–5 years in structural steel fabrication.
Rafter and column fabrication experience is mandatory.
Ability to read fabrication and structural drawings.
Knowledge of cutting, grinding, fitting and welding techniques.
Physically fit for workshop or site work.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble structural steel members (rafters, columns, beams, trusses).
Read and interpret fabrication and shop drawings and specs.
Measure, mark, cut, fit, and align steel components.
Perform tack welding and assist in assembly of structures.
Ensure work meets quality standards and project specs.
Operate fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace following procedures.
