Job summary

Penspen in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Sr. Engineer - HSE (Project) to implement, monitor, and enforce Health, Safety and Environmental standards on offshore oil & gas projects.

The role ensures regulatory compliance and alignment with client and company requirements across site activities. You will lead HSE plans, conduct risk assessments, manage permit-to-work, training, and incident investigations, coordinating with management, contractors, and clients to foster a strong safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas projects.
• Proven offshore project experience (platforms, FPSO, offshore construction, or drilling support).
• Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Familiar with offshore safety regulations and permit systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Relevant HSE certifications preferred (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).

Responsibilities
