Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to implement and monitor health, safety and environmental standards across oil & gas, energy or EPC projects in Dubai.

The role focuses on enforcing HSE policies, conducting inspections and audits, and coordinating with project teams to ensure UAE regulatory compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• HSE Management experience required.
• Experience with risk assessment and JSA.
• Incident investigation and safety auditing experience.
• Contractor management on site.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Implement project HSE policies, procedures and safety plans.

• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.

• Identify hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.

• Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments.

• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness programs.

• Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE compliance.

• Maintain HSE records, reports and documentation.

• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and project HSE requirements.

• Coordinate with project, construction and engineering teams.

• Track corrective and preventive actions.
