You will lead site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and training, promoting safe working practices and maintaining records. The role also includes coordinating emergency drills and liaising with authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory/preferred).
• Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, or First Aid are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans and procedures.
• Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events and prepare reports.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.
• Monitor environmental aspects including waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and preparedness activities.
• Support management in achieving project HSE objectives and KPIs.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on EHS matters.
