Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji International FZE in the UAE is seeking an experienced HSE professional to develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and lead audits on major projects.

The role covers risk assessments, incident investigations, toolbox talks, training, and maintaining records, with strong emphasis on ISO-45001 and local regulations; collaboration with project teams to embed safety in planning will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Safety Management / Environmental Science.
• HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA preferred).
• 12+ years HSE management experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local health and safety laws and international standards.
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
• OSH qualification (NVQ 4/5) and NEBOSH Diploma.
• ISO-45001 Lead Auditor is required.

Responsibilities

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in HSE management in large scale construction projects. (Buildings / Villas / Highrise). Should have minimum 5 years relevant work experience (as HSE - Asst. Manager or Sr. Engineer)

• Strong knowledge of local health and safety laws and international standards.

• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.

• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions effectively.

• OSH Qualification (NVQ level 4/5). NEBOSH Diploma. (Level 6 equivalent or above).

• ISO-45001 Lead Auditor is required
