Job summary

Indman is seeking a seasoned HSE professional to implement and maintain the HSE Management System across sites in the UAE. You will drive hazard identification, risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001/45001 and corporate standards.

You will conduct toolbox talks, deliver inductions and training, manage incident investigations, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulators to uphold HSE objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HSE or related field and professional certifications preferred.
  • Minimum X years of experience in HSE management on construction/fabrication/industrial sites.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Proven track record in hazard identification, risk assessment, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the HSE Management System in line with ISO 14001/45001 and company guidelines.
  • Ensure site activities comply with HSE plans, procedures, and corporate standards.
  • Develop and execute HSE monitoring, audits, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Document, report, and track HSE processes and KPIs; drive corrective actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for all operations.
  • Lead safety inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
  • Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and workforce trainings.
  • Promote Life Saving Rules and safe work practices on site.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulators on HSE matters.
  • Interface with project teams to align operations with corporate HSE objectives.

Job description

  • Implement and maintain the HSE Management System in accordance with company guidelines and international standards (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001)
  • Ensure site activities comply strictly with HSE plans, procedures, and corporate standards
  • Develop and execute HSE monitoring and audit programs
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of HSE processes
  • Conduct occupational risk assessments and hazard identification for all operational activities
  • Ensure application of hierarchy of controls and safety critical elements
  • Working at height
  • Confined space entry
  • Lifting and rigging operations
  • Electrical works and LOTO systems
  • Lead HSE inspections and audits at site level
  • Participate in incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Maintain HSE reporting systems, KPIs, and non-conformance tracking
  • Ensure timely reporting of incidents and corrective actions
  • Identify training needs and deliver HSE inductions and awareness sessions
  • Promote Life Saving Rules and safe work practices
  • Conduct toolbox talks and regular HSE meetings with workforce and subcontractors
  • Develop initiatives to strengthen HSE culture and communication
  • Ensure environmental protection measures and compliance with environmental legislation
  • Implement environmental monitoring and pollution prevention programs
  • Participate in emergency planning, drills, and crisis management activities
  • Support spill prevention, response, and fire/emergency preparedness
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters
  • Provide HSE guidance and support to project/site management teams
  • Ensure alignment between operations and corporate HSE objectives
  • Strong knowledge of HSE management systems (ISO 14001 / 45001)
  • Expertise in risk assessment and safety-critical activities
  • Experience with construction, fabrication, and industrial operations
  • Strong auditing, inspection, and incident investigation skills
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and emergency response systems
  • Ability to manage HSE reporting systems and KPI tracking
  • Strong communication and training delivery capability
  • Ability to lead and influence site teams and subcontractors
  • IT Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suit Package is essential.
