Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor in the United Arab Emirates to produce BOQs and cost estimates aligned with design requirements. You will deliver high- and detailed estimates, ensuring standards are followed and reporting is accurate.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of QS experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Retail/F&B exposure is a plus, and the role is on-site in Sharjah.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point is essential.
• 6–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

Job Purpose:

The position is responsible for producing BOQs and Cost estimates in line with the designs and other ad hoc requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce BOQs as per the Design team’s requirements.
• Produce high level / detailed estimates based on the requirements.
• Ensure Americana standards are implemented, met and maintained.
• Collaborate on special projects that will require special attention and reporting.
• Produce quality NSO BOQs vs Target.
• Produce quality Remodel BOQs vs Target.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point is essential.

Experience:

• 6 to 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Prior experience in retail / F&B brands.

Knowledge:

• Excellent architectural drawing reading skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Civil / ID works specifications.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of local authority requirement from specifications context.
• Strong analytical abilities.
