ESG Emirates Stallions Group P.J.S.C. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Cost Controller/Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs and contractual aspects from award to project completion.
You will prepare detailed BOQs and budgets, evaluate suppliers, draft and administer contracts, and monitor expenditures while ensuring compliance with FIDIC and company policies. This role requires procurement experience and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Responsible for managing all costs and contractual aspects of the projects from awarded stage to project completion The role involves preparing detailed costs BOQs and budgets evaluating and awarding supplier and subcontractor monitoring project expenditures and preparing interim upstream downstream and final payment applications Prepare detailed cost BOQs and budget based on project drawing and specifications Analyze drawings specifications and project scope to identify materials labor and any potential changes Prepare and maintain updated logs such as VO procurement and NOC Prepare and issue RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers Evaluate quotations and prepare comparison sheet for technical and commercial and secure the necessary approval as per company policy Support procurement in negotiating prices and finalizing vendor Draft review and administrate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors Project contract administration such as notice payment variation etc Ensure all contracts are aligned with project scope terms and conditions Track project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure alignment with the budget Identify cost overruns or risks early and propose corrective actions Prepare interim payment applications final accounts and variation claims and follow up with its approval Certify and process payments to subcontractors and suppliers Evaluate price variations change orders and client instructions Collaborate with project engineers project managers and procurement to ensure smooth execution Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify work done for payment claims Prepare and present cost reports project financial summaries and progress updates to management Always maintain documentation and records as per company policy for audits and final accounts Ensure all work complies with local laws contractual obligations and company policies Identify potential contractual or financial risks and provide recommendations Prepare and support the project close out Assist in preparing contractual letters where required Any other tasks that might be required by the line manager
