Talents of Endearment is seeking a skilled SQL Developer in Dubai to design, develop, and optimize MS SQL database solutions that support a Java-based product build-out.

The role focuses on complex query development, data integrity, performance tuning, and collaboration across engineering, product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable databases and BI-ready data models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in data science, information systems, or related discipline.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL and PL/SQL with performance tuning experience.
• Experience designing schemas, ER diagrams, and data models with security in mind.
• Familiarity with Java or Python and DevOps/CI-CD practices is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA and DevOps to align DB solutions with requirements.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with standards.
• Create and maintain schemas, indexes, views, and data models; document architecture.
• Build BI-ready data models; assist reporting teams with data delivery.

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer for our client to design, develop, and optimize database solutions using MS SQL in support of their Java-based product build-out. The role involves developing complex queries, ensuring data integrity, and performing performance tuning. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable database solutions.

• Database Development
• Design, develop, and optimize databases using MS SQL .
• Create and maintain schemas, indexes, views, stored procedures, and functions .
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align database solutions with product requirements.
• Maintain data models, ER diagrams, and design documentation .
• Build complex queries for reporting, analytics, and visualization.
• Optimize queries for performance and scalability .
• Partner with reporting teams to deliver BI and reporting solutions .
• Monitor and analyze database performance .
• Implement indexing, caching, and optimization techniques .
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks .
• Work closely with engineering, product, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
