As an Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer at 3i Infotech in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of robust database components supporting complex enterprise applications. Operating at the dynamic intersection of database development and operational support, you will collaborate closely with software engineering leads, systems architects, business analysts, and infrastructure specialists to translate intricate business logic into highly scalable stored procedures, packages, functions, and database triggers.

Your core technical mandate encompasses advanced database schema design, indexing strategies, partition management, and deep SQL query optimization to achieve sub-second transaction performance. You will actively manage server and database space utilization, perform comprehensive capacity planning, and diagnose severe runtime degradation across Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, and Windows Server hosting environments. In addition to proactive tuning, you will deliver robust production application support, execute complex data migration scripts, conduct root-cause analysis on critical system incidents, and implement automated database maintenance routines. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL database objects including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views for enterprise platforms.
• Perform advanced SQL query optimization, execution plan analysis, index tuning, and performance profiling to eliminate application latency and transaction bottlenecks.
• Architect and implement relational database models, entity-relationship schemas, normalization strategies, and table partition architectures.
• Provide comprehensive Tier-3 production database support, rapid incident triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and bug fixing for high-volume enterprise applications.
• Manage database space allocation, table space growth, archive log monitoring, and server-level disk capacity planning across production instances.
• Execute and validate complex data migration, bulk data loading (SQL*Loader, External Tables), and automated batch ETL processing workflows.
• Collaborate directly with cross-functional development teams, infrastructure engineers, and QA specialists to ensure rigorous code reviews and defect remediation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive database technical documentation, data dictionary specifications, deployment runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on professional experience in enterprise Oracle SQL and PL/SQL database development and design.
• Proven track record supporting and maintaining large-scale, mission-critical enterprise applications in high‑availability environments.
• Advanced technical expertise in Oracle database performance tuning, Explain Plans, TKPROF, AWR/ASH reports, and query optimization techniques.
• Solid experience with database storage management, server space allocation, tablespace maintenance, and physical database structures.
• Strong technical proficiency operating within enterprise Linux environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux) or Windows Server operating systems.
• Extensive experience developing and debugging complex stored packages, analytical functions, bulk collect constructs, and dynamic SQL.
• Current physical residence in or full willingness to relocate and work onsite in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong collaborative problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) credentials in Database Development or Administration.
• Practical experience with Oracle 19c or newer multi-tenant container and pluggable database architectures (CDB/PDB).
• Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash) and automating operational database maintenance tasks on Linux platforms.
• Working knowledge of enterprise ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, or integration platforms such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Informatica.
