Job summary

IIQAF Group in Dubai is seeking a skilled Spray Paint Technician to support maintenance, refurbishment, and appearance of hospitality assets. Responsibilities include surface preparation, paint mixing, applying coatings, and operating spray equipment to deliver high-quality finishes on furniture, fixtures, and metal surfaces.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior spray painting experience in hotels or facilities, and the ability to work flexibly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational qualification preferred.
• Experience as spray paint technician or related roles in hospitality or facilities environments.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform painting tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends or holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform spray painting and refinishing on furniture, fixtures, equipment, doors, panels, and metal surfaces.
• Inspect surfaces for defects and prepare them through cleaning, masking, priming, and smoothing.
• Mix paints, primers, coatings, thinners per manufacturer specs.
• Operate spray guns, booths, compressors, and related tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain records of painting jobs, materials used, and maintenance activities.

Job Summary

IIQAF Group is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Paint Technician to support maintenance, refurbishment, and property appearance requirements within a hospitality environment in Dubai. The Spray Paint Technician will prepare surfaces, mix and apply paints and coatings, operate spray painting equipment, repair damaged finishes, and ensure high-quality paintwork on furniture, fixtures, equipment, metal surfaces, doors, panels, and other hospitality property items.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform spray painting, painting, refinishing, and touch-up work on furniture, fixtures, equipment, doors, panels, metal surfaces, and other hospitality assets.
• Inspect surfaces to identify scratches, dents, peeling paint, corrosion, stains, and other finish defects.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, filling, priming, and smoothing as required.
• Mix paints, primers, coatings, thinners, and other materials according to manufacturer specifications and job requirements.
• Operate spray guns, spray booths, compressors, sanders, grinders, and other painting equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply primer, basecoat, topcoat, lacquer, varnish, enamel, and protective coatings using appropriate techniques.
• Perform spray painting and refinishing work to achieve smooth, even, and professional finishes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general finishing work as assigned.
• Maintain records of completed painting jobs, materials used, and maintenance activities when required.
• Perform other painting, refinishing, maintenance, and facility support duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical certificate, or vocational qualification preferred.
• Previous experience as a Spray Paint Technician, Spray Painter, Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer, Automotive Painter, Furniture Painter, or Maintenance Painter.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, facilities management company, property maintenance operation, workshop, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and performing painting tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance or engineering team.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and committed to completing assigned work.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, or emergency maintenance schedules when required.
