Abu Dhabi Government entity is seeking a Sports Section Head (Emirati Talent) to lead the development of community sports strategies and management functions. The role oversees daily activity planning, program development, and policy formulation to make sports accessible and attractive to all segments of society in Abu Dhabi.

English and Arabic fluency is required for Emiratization. The position emphasizes governance, project leadership, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver impactful sports

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in sports, policy & standards, data strategy or legal sectors.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in sports, policy and standards, data strategy, and data analysis.
• Fluent in English and Arabic for an Emiratization role.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor baseline to set strategic priorities for expanding community sports in Abu Dhabi.
• Review and update sports policies and standards based on research and stakeholder input.
• Promote values that ensure quality of sports activities in the community.
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve accessibility and attractivity of sports for all groups and support talented youth.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address gaps between supply and demand for community sports.
• Develop KPIs to measure effectiveness and monitor progress.

An Abu Dhabi Government entity is looking for the \"Sports Section Head” \"- (Emirati Talent) to join their young team and to contribute to the development of the of strategies and sports management function.

Objective of the role:

Overseeing the preparation of daily activities, developing programs, and formulating policies that contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of community sports program, which aim to make sports activities accessible and attractive to all segments of society in Abu Dhabi.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor the baseline situation to determine strategic priorities for expanding sports activities across Abu Dhabi, utilizing research, stakeholder input, and other relevant criteria.


• Review and update sports policies and standards based on research, analysis, social impact assessments, and stakeholder inputs.


• Promoting positive values that ensure optimal quality of sports activities in the wider community from a sociocultural and health perspective.


• Develop the strategic initiatives and programs that enhance the accessibility and attractiveness of sports to all segments of society and that support talented youth in Abu Dhabi.


• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop action plans addressing gaps between supply and demand for community sports services and programs.


• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of community sports initiatives and ensure regular monitoring.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Masters in Sports. Policy & Standards, Data Strategy or Legal sectors.


• Minimum 4 years’ experience in sports, policy and standards, data strategy , Data Analysis .


• Strong project management and governance, stakeholder management Strong presentation , analytical, communication Skills .


• Fluent in English and Arabic being an Emiratization role.
