The incumbent will work under Consultants, contributing to high-volume trauma and spine cases while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with specialist qualification in Neurosurgery.
• DHA eligibility or eligibility for DHA Specialist licensing.
• Experience as a Specialist Neurosurgeon in a busy hospital.
• Able to manage trauma, IP care and OPD independently.

Responsibilities

• Support Consultant Neurosurgeon in Trauma & Emergency On-Call services.
• Assess and manage neurosurgical emergencies and trauma patients.
• Provide inpatient neurosurgical care, including pre- and post-operative management.
• Conduct routine neurosurgical OPD consultations and follow-ups.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative support as required.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions and ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
• Handle neurotrauma and emergency neurosurgery cases.
• Manage head injuries and spinal trauma.

We are seeking for Specialist Neurosurgeon to join our multidisciplinary team in UAE. The role will work closely under Consultants, supporting Trauma On-Calls, Inpatient care and OPD services.

Key Requirements

• Medical Degree with recognized Specialist qualification in Neurosurgery.
• DHA eligibility / eligibility for DHA Specialist licensing is essential.
• Relevant post-specialty experience as a Specialist Neurosurgeon.
• Experience in a busy hospital environment is essential, with exposure to emergency and trauma cases.
• Ability to support Neurosurgery Trauma On-Calls, emergency assessments and inpatient management.
• Experience in IP care, post-operative management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to independently manage routine OPD consultations.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and communication skills.
• Candidates with experience in a high-volume tertiary or multispecialty hospital environment are preferred.
