Special Educator - Inclusion Support

Salary: 9,000–12,000 AED per month (estimated).
Role Overview
Responsible for supporting students with additional learning needs, facilitating inclusive classroom practice, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and school leadership to improve student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide structured learning support for students with special educational needs.
- Prepare and implement Individual Education Plans based on student ability, classroom observations, and academic targets.
- Work with classroom teachers to adapt lessons, teaching resources, activities, and assessments for different learning needs.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and small group intervention sessions to support literacy, numeracy, communication, behaviour, and social development.
- Monitor student progress and maintain clear records of support plans, learning milestones, intervention outcomes and parent communication.
- Assist teachers in applying differentiated instruction within the British Curriculum classroom.
- Support students in building independence, confidence, focus, emotional regulation and positive peer interaction.
- Coordinate with parents, school leaders, teachers and external specialists to ensure consistent support for each learner.
- Participate in student review meetings and contribute practical recommendations for improved learning outcomes.
- Promote an inclusive school culture where every student is respected, supported and encouraged to participate fully.
- Follow school policies related to safeguarding, confidentiality, inclusion, documentation and professional conduct.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
- B.Ed qualification is required.
- Relevant UAE teaching experience in special education, inclusion or student support.
- Prior experience in a British Curriculum School is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education, differentiated learning, intervention planning and student progress tracking.
- Ability to prepare and adjust Individual Education Plans according to student needs.
- Good communication skills for working with students, parents, teachers and school leadership.
- Patient, compassionate, organized and confident in managing diverse learner needs.
- Able to maintain accurate records and support school inclusion procedures.
- Own visa preferred.
- Immediate availability highly preferred.
