Job summary

ATEEQ is seeking a fluent Spanish-speaking Translator / Tourist Relations Executive to assist Spanish-speaking visitors in Abu Dhabi. You will welcome guests, translate conversations between visitors and the ATEEQ team, and explain heritage products and experiences to ensure a memorable visit.

This customer-facing role requires confidence, clear communication, and cultural awareness. UAE-based candidates preferred, with Arabic knowledge considered an advantage, and an ability to work with

Qualifications

• Fluent or native-level Spanish required.
• Good spoken English required.
• Arabic knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, presentable and well-groomed.
• UAE-based candidates preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.

Responsibilities

Job description

ATEEQ is looking for a fluent Spanish-speaking Translator / Tourist Relations Executive to assist Spanish-speaking visitors and tour groups in Abu Dhabi.

The role involves welcoming Spanish-speaking tourists, translating conversations between visitors and the ATEEQ team, explaining our heritage products and visitor experience, and ensuring guests feel comfortable and well assisted throughout their visit.

This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who is confident, well-spoken, culturally aware and comfortable interacting with international tourists.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist Spanish-speaking tourists visiting ATEEQ.

• Provide clear verbal translation between Spanish and English.

• Explain ATEEQ's products, heritage and cultural experience to Spanish-speaking guests.

• Assist staff when communicating with Spanish-speaking tour groups, guides and visitors.

• Help answer visitor questions and provide general information.

• Support group visits and tourism-related activities.

• Assist with Spanish-language promotional materials when required.

• Translate short messages, brochures or customer communications where necessary.

• Ensure Spanish-speaking guests receive professional and attentive service.

• Coordinate with tour guides, drivers and the ATEEQ team during group visits.

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent or native-level Spanish is required.

• Good spoken English is required.

• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confident speaking with tourists and groups.

• Professional, presentable and well-groomed.

• Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, translation, customer service or retail is preferred.

• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

• Friendly, patient and able to communicate clearly.

• UAE-based candidates preferred.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
