Job summary

EDGE in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Satellite Payload Electrical Engineer to join the SAR Payload System Engineering team. You will design, develop, integrate, and test electrical subsystems for satellite payloads, including power, communication, and control systems, with hands-on training under the UAE ToK program.

The role emphasizes cutting-edge satellite technologies, with opportunities to work across power conditioning, testing, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Previous internship or academic project is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and undertake assignments up to two years.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, and testing of satellite payload electrical subsystems.
• Contribute to power conditioning, distribution, solar panels, batteries, wiring, and connectors.
• Perform power budgets, load estimations, and energy efficiency assessments.
• Troubleshoot issues during AIT and prepare technical documentation.
