Job summary

EDGE, a UAE-based leading advanced technology group, seeks an EW System Engineer to define, integrate, and verify electronic warfare capabilities across the full system lifecycle. The role involves translating mission needs into system requirements and architectures, with strong emphasis on signal processing and verification.

The candidate will collaborate on complex defence projects, require frequent travel to partner facilities, and possess excellent English proficiency.

Qualifications

Brilliant and motivated graduates, PhD students, PhDs in the faculties of engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science.
Availability for national and international travel; the job requires frequent travel abroad to partner facilities.
Good knowledge of the English language.
Desirable Master’s degree in electronic engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Identification of the customer's operational requirements and translation into technical requirements.
Definition of the system architecture suitable to satisfy the identified technical requirements.
Definition and evaluation of high-level technical requirements and subdivision into functional, performance, mechanical and interface requirements.
Drafting of the technical project documentation.
Integration, Validation and Qualification of the system.
Final verification and testing with the customer.
Platform installation activities and operational test support.
Project and planning management.
