Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Software Engineer (FADA) to design, develop, integrate and verify onboard and ground software for satellites and RF payloads to ensure reliable mission execution, payload control, data processing, and system interoperability across the full lifecycle.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will collaborate with firmware, digital hardware, payload and system engineering teams, travel as needed, and contribute to software architecture, testing and documentation while working within EDGE's

Qualifications

Masters or PhD candidates in engineering/CS fields preferred.
Strong knowledge of embedded software development for space applications.
Good English communication and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Define and evaluate high-level technical requirements and decompose them into functional, performance and interface needs.
Define software architecture to meet identified requirements.
Develop, integrate and verify software for space and ground segments.
Implement control, monitoring and data processing functions across the system.
Prepare technical documentation and test procedures.
Participate in lab and system-level testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, payload and system engineering teams for end-to-end integration.
