Job summary

EDGE, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, seeks a Firmware Engineer for space-related embedded software development. You will design, develop, integrate and verify firmware for satellites and RF payloads to ensure real-time performance and robust operation throughout missions.

Responsibilities include firmware support, hardware bring-up, documentation and lab verification. The role requires travel and strong English; a Master’s in relevant engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate or PhD level in engineering or related field with space exposure.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support firmware development, integration and debugging for satellite payloads.
• Assist hardware bring-up, low-level software validation and interface testing.
• Prepare technical documentation, software descriptions and test procedures.
• Participate in lab verification and troubleshooting for reliable performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and system engineering teams on payload integration.
