Job summary

NSSTC in Al Ain seeks an electrical engineer to design and develop ground support and test equipment for CubeSats and small spacecraft. You will mentor UAE University students and collaborate across disciplines while contributing to both space and ground hardware development.

Applicants should hold a BS in electrical engineering with attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to take ownership of projects. Fluency in English and Arabic is valued. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS or higher in electrical engineering.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience with FPGA programming and electro-mechanical packaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with multi-disciplinary team including students and engineers.
• Document interfaces and requirements for space-flight hardware.
• Design components for space flight applications and ground/test hardware.
• Model and analyze ground and space hardware designs.
• Perform engineering tasks including verification and validation.
