RAFFLES The Palm invites applications for Spa Therapist to join our luxury spa team in Dubai. The role reports to the Spa Manager and delivers exceptional spa treatments and personalized wellness experiences, including facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, massages, scrubs, and wraps, with uncompromising guest care.

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited aesthetics school with at least 2 years of experience and a valid DHA license.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of aesthetics.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as Aesthetician.
• Valid DHA license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform spa treatments on members and guests using professional techniques.
• Maintain an ample inventory of products and supplies for facials and waxing.
• Assist in the beauty salon when not scheduled to perform aesthetic services; act as salon receptionist as needed.
• Coordinate spa treatments with other spa programs and maintain safety and hygiene.

Job Description We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles The Palm as we are currently looking for a Spa Therapist reporting to the Spa Manager The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments and personalized wellness experiences while ensuring the highest standards of service professionalism and guest care The role includes performing facials manicures pedicures and waxing aesthetic services as well as a variety of body treatments including massages scrubs and wraps in a safe professional and personalized manner The role requires uncompromising attention to Guest and Member service ensuring every guest feels welcomed valued and well cared for throughout their spa experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all spa treatments on members and Guests using safe and professional techniquesPerform spa treatments services in a safe comfortable and hygienic mannerPerform nail services in a safe comfortable and hygienic mannerMaintain an ample inventory of all products necessary to perform all facials and waxing services including skin care products cotton distilled water warm wax waxing sticks bowls towels sheets blankets plastic bags and face cloths etc Prepare kits as requiredMaintain a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facilityAssist in any and all ways in the beauty salon when not scheduled to perform aesthetic services This assistance is to include acting as salon receptionist performing manicure pedicure services selling and restocking professional retail skin care and hair care productsConstantly maintain up-to-date knowledge of the personal services performed and any revisions in the skin care products or procedures usedAnswer all questions related to services performed and products usedBe on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each service and shiftCourteously interact and answer all facility-related questions with Members and GuestsAssist in the co ordination of spa treatments with other spa programsEnsure current trends in aesthetic industry are reviewedServe as catalyst to promote spa services to Members and hotel GuestsMaintain current professional licensesReport dysfunctional equipment to Spa DirectorWork with the Lead Therapist in the formulation of plans for projectsEnsure individual is well versed in all aspects of the spa s operations i e business telephone usage guest relations retail sales spa services massage loofah facial etc Assist in the operations of all spa departments as required Reception Boutique Sales and MarketingEnsure the facility is in peak condition at all times operations and cleanliness Ensure Guest member satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the spa s first priorityEnsure cross trained in all spa departmentsCarry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures ManualMaintain Training logsMaintain inventory of supplies for the operation of the treatment roomsMaintain accurate records as required by hotel and government regulationsAttend weekly monthly Aestheticians departmental communication meetings

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Follow and ensure that Colleagues follow all safety procedures and practicesAdherence to departmental emergency procedures safety manualEnsure all departments adhere to all safety practices of Raffles SpasMaintain equipment for aesthetics and personal equipment in safe and sanitary condition

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain the facility in peak condition at all times while adhering to all aspects of the operations budget including payroll

Qualifications

COLLEAGUE RELATIONEnsure aesthetic department maintains a positive relationship with all departments in the spa and hotelTrained in all facility operationsHave a complete understanding of and adhere to the spa s policy relating to safetyUnderstand all spa departments training in pertinent emergency procedures and ensure that all departments are well versed in salon operations cross training Ensure Colleagues adhere to all spa standards as stated in the employee handbook
