Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Spa Attendant at Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara in Abu Dhabi for maintaining pristine spa and public areas. You will support opening/closing, manage towels and refreshments, and ensure equipment safety with a focus on guest comfort, hygiene, and service quality.

The role requires strong communication, hospitality skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team while living in a remote resort setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in spa operations, housekeeping, or hospitality is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all spa public areas, relaxation rooms, and changing areas.
• Provide refreshments, prepare spa towels, and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure all spa equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment defects to the Spa Manager or Supervisor.
• Update the maintenance logbook and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including fire safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Handle emergencies calmly and report incidents promptly.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management team.
