Job summary

Quvia is seeking a Solutions Engineer in the UAE to serve as the technical bridge between customers and our engineering and operations teams. You will assess customer networks, capture new technical requirements, and translate them into solution designs that deliver measurable business outcomes from qualification through proof of concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of network engineering experience across terrestrial and/or satellite communications.
• Deep networking fundamentals, including routing and switching, network security, wireless, and datacenter networking.
• Hands-on experience with SDN and multi-vendor SD-WAN and NGFW platforms such as Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Meraki/Viptela, Cradlepoint, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise solutions.
• Scripting and DevOps experience in a networking context – Python, REST APIs, configuration orchestration, zero-touch provisioning and workflow automation.
• Track record of leading customer-facing POCs, deployments or migrations in large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of managing virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM, and a broad understanding of hardware/OS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to assess a customer’s current network and translate requirements into tailored solution designs.
• Design, test and deploy multi path traffic orchestration across satellite and terrestrial environments.
• Lead proof of concepts end to end from criteria to production handoff.
• Use scripting and DevOps to streamline solution delivery and templating.
• Act as a technical advisor, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on Quvia products.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and documentation.
