Quvia is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge customers and engineering, assessing networks across terrestrial and satellite environments and turning requirements into scalable designs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of network engineering experience across terrestrial and/or satellite communications, including multi-link architecture.
• Deep networking fundamentals, including routing and switching, network security, wireless, and datacenter networking.
• Hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and multi-vendor SD‑WAN and NGFW platforms such as Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Meraki/Viptela, Cradlepoint (Ericsson), Palo Alto, or similar enterprise solutions.
• Scripting and DevOps experience in a networking context – Python, REST APIs, configuration orchestration, zero‑touch provisioning and workflow automation.
• Track record of leading customer-facing POCs, deployments or migrations in large enterprise environments.
• Commercial awareness: ability to spot opportunities to reduce cost and simplify delivery through better design.
• Knowledge managing virtual infrastructure with VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, or KVM; understanding of computer hardware/OS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead conversations at engineering and executive levels.
• Project management experience and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Satellite (SATCOM) knowledge is a plus; cloud-hosted networking/security (Azure/AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to assess a customer's current network, capture new technical requirements, and convert them into tailored designs with measurable outcomes.
• Design, test and deploy multi-path traffic orchestration across satellite and terrestrial environments using Quvia products and third-party integrations.
• Lead POCs end to end: define criteria, design, install, configure, test, and hand off to production.
• Use scripting and DevOps to streamline delivery: templating, automation, and repeatable deployments.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers and present status updates and health metrics to stakeholders.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on operation and value of Quvia products.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and comprehensive documentation.
