Job summary

Al Rostamani Group of Companies LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Solar PV design team in the UAE. You will support BD/Sales and Operations with end-to-end design, from feasibility through execution.

Responsibilities include technical configurations, simulations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize CAPEX/OPEX and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Hands-on design exposure with solar PV software (PVSyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, Homer).
• AutoCAD experience required.
• ETAP calculation knowledge is a plus.
• Cable-sizing and LV/MV panel design & optimization knowledge.
• Solid understanding of solar technologies and product certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for Solar PV and electrical systems.
• Develop Preliminary and Detailed Designs focusing on technical configuration and optimization.
• Prepare project estimates (CAPEX & OPEX) and timelines for internal/external use.
• Coordinate with BD/Sales and Operations to support project growth.
• Ensure designs comply with utilities' standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with supply chain on solar product pricing and availability.
