Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Black Box, White Box, Functional, Non-Functional).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Proficiency in test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for creating automated test scripts.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software testing or QA.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into development workflows.
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail and analytical skills; communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure product quality.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Automation Testing: Design and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure updates do not introduce new issues.
• Defect Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects using Jira or Bugzilla with timely resolution.
• Performance and Load Testing: Evaluate performance under various conditions using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Collaboration: Work with development teams to understand system functionality and provide feedback.
• Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, cases, and reports.
