About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Software Product Testing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy and Planning: Develop, document, and implement test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure product quality and alignment with business requirements.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks in software products.
• Automation Testing: Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure product updates do not introduce new issues.
• Defect Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms, ensuring timely resolution.
• Performance and Load Testing: Evaluate software performance under various conditions using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand system functionality and provide feedback to improve software design and user experience.
• Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments to simulate real-world scenarios effectively.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, cases, and reports.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., Black Box, White Box, Functional, Non-Functional).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Proficiency in test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for creating automated test scripts.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Experience
