Almosafer is seeking a Specialist QA Backend Engineer in Dubai to drive automated API testing and backend quality. You will develop automated test suites, validate contracts, and ensure test coverage across the SDLC within an Agile SCRUM framework.

• 4+ years of solid experience in Software Testing/QA with strong backend/API testing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and REST Assured for API automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON/XML, authentication, and API testing concepts.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios for backend/API testing.
• Develop API automation using Java and REST Assured and perform API testing using Postman.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for test case generation, automation, test data creation, defect analysis, and improving QA efficiency.
• Participate in sprint planning and review requirements to ensure test coverage.
• Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Convert manual regression scenarios to automated test cases.
• Validate API contracts, request/response payloads, authentication, authorization, and data integrity.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities during the SDLC.
• Ensure automated tests are integrated and execute reliably in CI/CD environments.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and non-functional testing, including API performance/load testing where required.
• Work as a member of an Agile SCRUM team delivering high-quality software in two-week sprints.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues thoroughly during bug tracking.
• Review requirements and technical specifications to identify quality risks and ensure adequate test coverage.]
