Job summary

Zand in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced leader to drive the SME banking portfolio. You will lead a high-performing relationship-management team, win new clients, deepen existing relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions for business needs.

You will coach managers to achieve revenue and portfolio growth targets, ensure robust risk controls, and maintain strong client trust through proactive service and cross-sell across SME products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Management or related discipline.
• At least 5 years SME banking experience including people-management.
• Strong knowledge of SME banking propositions and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage Relationship Managers, Assistant Relationship Managers and Virtual Relationship Managers to deliver objectives.
• Acquire new SME clients and build a robust CASA portfolio through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
• Build trusted client relationships by understanding their businesses and needs.
• Drive sales, service, cross-sell and up-sell across SME products and services.
• Keep clients informed of new products and innovations, articulating value for their businesses.
• Achieve business targets while maintaining appropriate risk standards and a customer-focused approach.
• Ensure KYC documentation is complete, accurate and updated on time.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to manage credit, compliance and operational risks.
• Identify and address potential money-laundering concerns.
