Job summary

Mashreq in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Small Enterprise Relationship Manager to manage existing SE relationships and originate new ones across branch networks. You will drive revenue by cross-selling the full range of banking products, meet borrowing and non-borrowing needs, and maintain KYC/AML compliance.

Qualifications

• Banking sales and service experience with proven relationship management qualities.
• Advanced knowledge of credit, trade, operating systems and legal/regulatory considerations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Minimum 4+ years of banking experience in local or international markets.
• MBA/CA or graduate with adequate relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing Small Enterprise relationships and originate new SE relationships across branch locations.
• Meet borrowing and non-borrowing needs of customers; target segments include borrowers, transactors and depositors.
• Source new-to-bank customers and generate leads from walk-ins.
• Upsell/deep-sell/cross-sell a full range of banking products.
• Takeover relationships from DS and relaunch downgraded ME relationships with onboarding procedures.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade customers to ME by profiling needs and potential.
• Ensure quality and soundness of SE portfolio through KYC, due diligence, AML controls.
• Maintain portfolio control via documentation, client visits, stock inspections and credit checks.
• Monitor portfolio to maintain acceptable risk and returns; conduct periodic reviews.
