Site Engineer - Main Contracting Background

Job summary

IKK Group of Companies in Abu Dhabi seeks a Civil/Architectural Site Engineer to supervise daily site activities, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality. You will coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, suppliers, and project teams while managing resources and reporting progress.

Responsibilities include inspecting workmanship, preparing daily reports, and ensuring compliance with method statements, QA/QC processes, and handover as per project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• 2–5 years of site experience with a general contracting company.
• Practical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC experience and a valid UAE driving licence are preferred.
