Job summary

مجموعة الطاير is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead site execution for interior contracting projects in the UAE. The role involves developing and implementing the project program on site, coordinating with procurement, and ensuring completion within the approved design and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering and has 2–3 years of experience in interior contracting or construction. Strong coordination with QC and site teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in the interior contracting / construction industry.
• Experience in managing site workforce and coordinating with QC and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project program on site in a cost-effective manner.
• Obtain drawings, assess material and manpower needs, and hand over requirements to Procurement.
• Monitor progress against the project plan and report discrepancies for corrective action.
• Organize and manage the workforce, supervise the site, and address technical problems and changes.
• Liaise with Site Management to ensure adherence to the project program and highlight discrepancies.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To develop and implement the project program on site in an organized and cost effective manner in accordance with the approved design, quality standards and within the agreed time frame
• Obtain the drawings of the project, assess the material and manpower requirement accurately and hand over the material requirement to the Purchase Department to enable procurement, after approval
• Monitor project progress against the project plan and report discrepancies /delays for taking corrective action
• Organize and manage the workforce, supervise the site, keep the Manager updated on the progress of the project and attend to all technical and engineering problems, additional manpower requirements, drawing changes, etc. in an effective and timely manner
• Regularly liaise with Site Management on adherence to project program and highlight discrepancies if any
• Conduct quality checks and complete quality check lists, with the QC Inspector, on works carried out to ensure that the products meet specifications
• Coordinate site demobilization on project completion and prepare applicable reports
• Execute issued snag lists from consultants, oversee sub-contractors for various works, and monitor all jobs for timely completion and compliance

People Management Roles and Responsibilities

• Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles
