Job summary

AL TAYER GROUP LLC (Ventures division) in Dubai seeks a site project coordinator to develop and implement the project program on site in an organized and cost-effective manner, in line with approved design quality standards and timeframes.

You will obtain drawings, assess material and manpower needs, monitor progress, supervise the workforce, conduct quality checks with QC inspectors, and coordinate demobilization and reports to ensure on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in interior contracting or construction
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Obtain drawings and assess material/manpower needs for procurement
• Monitor progress against plan and report discrepancies
• Organize and manage the workforce; update Manager on progress
• Liaise with Site Management on program adherence
• Conduct quality checks with QC Inspector to meet specs
• Coordinate site demobilization and prepare reports
• Oversee sub-contractors and ensure timely completion
• Guide juniors for higher-level roles

Job description

Job purpose

To develop and implement the project program on site in an organized and cost-effective manner in accordance with the approved design quality standards and within the agreed time frame

Responsibilities

• Obtain the drawings of the project assess the material and manpower requirement accurately and hand over the material requirement to the Purchase Department to enable procurement
• after approvalMonitor project progress against the project plan and report discrepancies delays for taking corrective action
• Organize and manage the workforce supervise the site keep the Manager updated on the progress of the project and attend to all technical and engineering problems additional manpower requirements drawing changes etc in an effective and timely manner
• Regularly liaise with Site Management on adherence to project program and highlight discrepancies if any
• Conduct quality checks and complete quality check lists with the QC Inspector on works carried out to ensure that the products meet specifications
• Coordinate site demobilization on project completion and prepare applicable reports
• Execute issued snag lists from consultants oversee sub-contractors for various works and monitor all jobs for timely completion and compliance
• Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles
