Job summary

China State Construction Middle East CSCEC ME is seeking a Site Engineer to join our high-rise tower project in Dubai. You will manage daily site activities, coordinate with project management, consultants and subcontractors, and ensure quality and safety on site.

You will review drawings, approve method statements with the consultant, supervise foremen, and prepare material requests to keep deliveries on schedule. The role requires strong technical skills and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in construction projects.
• Experience in High Rise Tower Projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site construction activities and coordinate with PM, Construction Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and all concerned departments.
• Review drawings and method statements in consultation with the Construction Manager and obtain consultant approval for execution.
• Supervise the General Foreman and Foremen, assisting them to perform effectively.
• Review drawings per site conditions and communicate changes to the execution team.
• Prepare material requests and ensure on-time delivery per the order (LPO).
• Receive and inspect material deliveries per the request.
• Perform engineering calculations and civil design analyses to solve problems.
• Make inspection/test requests for each activity.
• Manage and monitor daily on-site activities; prepare weekly, monthly, and daily progress reports.
• Coordinate between MEP activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for daily construction activity of the site coordinating with Project Manager Construction Manager Consultants subcontractors and all concerned departments etc Using all approved drawings and materials Checking the method statements in consultation with Construction Manager and should approved by consultant for execution of work Supervise the activities of the General Foreman Foreman and assist them to perform effectively Review the drawing as per site condition and communicate to the execution team Prepare the material request as per the site Drawing inquiry and ensure the delivery of items on time as per the order Receiving and checking of delivery of materials as per the request LPO Performs engineering calculations civil design analysis to solve problems Making inspection test request for each activity Manage and monitor the daily activities on-site prepare monthly weekly and daily progress report Monitor the store and material issuance Providing full support to the Construction Manager with regular feedback Co-ordination between MEP activities

Requirements
