Job description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer with a strong background in executing and supervising construction activities on high-rise building and hotel construction projects in the UAE.

The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience managing site execution, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Candidates with relevant experience in high-rise buildings or hotel construction projects are strongly preferred.

• Supervise and monitor day‑to‑day civil construction activities at the project site, ensuring work is executed in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Manage and coordinate site activities, including structural works, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out as per project schedules, approved method statements, and established quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, project managers, and other site teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accurate site implementation.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities in line with project milestones.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify site issues, technical challenges, and construction discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment at the site.
• Prepare daily progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager on site activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations and project‑specific HSE requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Civil Site Engineer with established construction or contracting companies.
• Must have hands‑on experience working on high‑rise building or hotel construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil construction activities, particularly structural and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proven experience in site supervision, subcontractor coordination, and construction execution.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

Important: Candidates with experience limited to infrastructure, roads, utilities, or general maintenance projects will not be considered.
