Job summary

DSCA Building Contracting is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate construction activities on high-rise building projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure site work aligns with drawings, specifications and schedules, while coordinating with subcontractors, QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities including concrete reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, and finishing.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specs, and project methods.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to maintain efficiency.
• Monitor progress and align with the project schedule.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and consultants for inspections.
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
• Prepare daily site reports and material requirements.
• Coordinate with HSE to ensure safety compliance.

Job description

DSCA Building Contracting is currently hiring an experienced and highly motivated Civil Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate construction activities on our high-rise building projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring site activities are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities including structural concrete reinforcement formwork blockwork and finishing works
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings method statements and project specifications
• Coordinate with subcontractors site supervisors foremen and technical teams to maintain efficient site operations
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed according to the approved project schedule
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during site execution
• Coordinate with QA QC engineers and consultants to facilitate inspections and approvals
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower materials and equipment
• Prepare daily site reports progress updates and material requirements
• Coordinate with the HSE team to ensure compliance with site safety procedures
• Report construction delays technical concerns and operational challenges to project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of practical site engineering experience in high-rise building construction; 4+ years preferred.
• Proven experience in reinforced concrete structures and building construction activities.
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, site execution, and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and relevant building regulations.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet construction deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Important: Experience in high-rise residential or commercial building construction is mandatory. Candidates with infrastructure-only experience will not be considered.
