Job summary

Nova International General Contracting in the UAE seeks a Site Engineer to oversee building and villa compound projects in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, schedules and safety standards.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 5–8 years of UAE project experience in buildings and villa compounds are required; Abu Dhabi exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in construction projects within the buildings sector and villa compounds.
• Proven UAE project experience; Abu Dhabi exposure preferred.
• Experience in buildings projects and villa compounds is required.
• Abu Dhabi Municipality certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities to ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Monitor construction progress and report daily site activities to the Project Engineer / Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements, and local authority regulations.
• Support short-term planning, sequencing, and look-ahead schedules.
• Identify and report technical issues or deviations on site and assist in their resolution.
• Assist with inspections, snagging, and handover activities.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily logs, and reports.

Job Description

The Site Engineer plays a key role in the execution of building and villa compound projects in Abu Dhabi.
