Job summary

Algedra is seeking a Civil Foreman with 5–10 years of experience for villa construction projects in the UAE. The role requires hands-on supervision from excavation through handover, including reinforced concrete, steel work, formwork, and site safety coordination.

The ideal candidate can read structural drawings, coordinate carpenters, masons, and steel fixers, and ensure compliance with engineer instructions and UAE construction standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Civil Foreman.
• Experience in residential villa construction from excavation to handover.
• Hands-on experience in reinforced concrete works, foundations, footings, columns, beams and slabs.
• Experience in steel works, formwork/shuttering and concrete pouring.
• Supervise skilled and unskilled workers including carpenters, masons and steel fixers.
• Ability to read structural/architectural drawings and follow engineer's instructions.
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices and site safety requirements.
• UAE construction experience preferred; UAE Driving License preferred but not mandatory.

Job description

• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Civil Foreman in building and construction projects.
• Strong and proven experience in residential villa construction, preferably from excavation stage through completion and final handover.
• Extensive hands-on experience in structural works, including: Reinforced concrete works, Foundations, footings and ground beams, Columns, beams and slabs, Steel reinforcement and rebar works, Formwork and shuttering and Concrete pouring and related activities
• Strong practical experience in steel works, including installation, fabrication coordination and structural steel-related activities.
• Strong knowledge and experience in carpentry/formwork works, including proper preparation and installation of formwork for structural elements.
• Experienced in scaffolding works, including erection, dismantling and proper coordination for safe access to work areas.
• Able to supervise and manage skilled and unskilled workers, carpenters, steel fixers, masons and other site workers.
• Able to read and understand structural and architectural drawings and implement the Engineer's instructions on site.
• Good knowledge of villa construction methods, structural works and finishing activities.
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and site safety requirements.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred but not mandatory.
