Job summary

AshNov Building Contracting Co LLC in Dubai is seeking a Site Supervisor with 3–5 years of UAE experience to oversee villa construction activities, read and interpret drawings, and ensure execution matches designs and specifications.

You will coordinate with Site Engineers, subcontractors, and MEP teams, monitor productivity and material usage, and enforce safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in UAE construction.
• Villa construction experience in Dubai is mandatory.
• Main contractor experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of structural works, masonry, waterproofing, finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret basic architectural/structural drawings.
• Ability to supervise workers and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality requirements and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil activities: excavation, foundations, concrete works, steel fixing, shuttering, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, finishing.
• Assign tasks to masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and general labourers.
• Read drawings to ensure accurate site execution.
• Coordinate with Site Engineer, subcontractors, and MEP teams.
• Monitor manpower productivity, material use, and progress.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Identify site problems and report to the Site Engineer.
• Minimise wastage and ensure proper tool/equipment use.
• Maintain site cleanliness and enforce PPE safety.
• Prepare daily attendance and progress reports.
• Ensure activities meet project schedules.

Job description

• Supervise daily civil construction activities, including excavation, foundations, concrete works, steel fixing, shuttering, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing works.

• Manage and allocate daily tasks to masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and general labourers.

• Read and understand architectural and structural drawings to ensure accurate site execution.

• Coordinate with the Site Engineer, subcontractors, and MEP teams.

• Monitor daily manpower productivity, material consumption, and construction progress.

• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.

• Identify site problems and report them promptly to the Site Engineer.

• Minimise material wastage and ensure proper use of construction tools and equipment.

• Maintain site cleanliness and enforce safety procedures, including the use of PPE.

• Prepare daily manpower attendance and progress reports.

• Ensure assigned activities are completed according to project schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of UAE construction experience.

• Villa Experience: Previous experience in Dubai villa construction is mandatory.

• Main Contractor Experience: Strongly preferred.

• Good knowledge of structural works, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing activities.

• Ability to read and interpret basic architectural and structural drawings.

• Proven ability to supervise construction workers and subcontractors.

• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality construction requirements and site safety practices.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate in English; Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.

• UAE driving licence is an advantage.

• Immediate availability is preferred.
