Job summary

Wood is seeking a qualified Site-Based Subcontract Administrator to support subcontract management and coordination on a Abu Dhabi site. The role emphasizes adherence to ADNOC procedures, FIDIC contracts, and effective interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of subcontract administration experience in Oil & Gas or EPC.
• Strong knowledge of Piping and Mechanical construction activities.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards and HSSE requirements.
• Hands-on site-based experience with subcontractors.
• Proficient in variations, claims, change orders, and subcontractor billing.
• Proficient with SAP/Oracle and document control platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage mechanical construction documents and drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.
• Track work progress and prepare regular reports.
• Manage material receipt and inventory records.
• Assist in inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures and quality standards.
• Support permit-to-work and handover documentation.
• Maintain RFIs, NCRs, punch lists, and close-out records.
• Organize meetings and follow up on action items.
• Support HSE requirements and site regulations.
• Coordinate workforce timesheets and manpower reports.
• Assist in project completion and handover to operations.
