Senior Mechanical Piping EPC Construction Lead

Job summary

ADC is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Construction Manager to lead all mechanical construction activities for piping and pipeline projects in the Abu Dhabi region. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise site teams, subs and vendors while ensuring ADNOC standards, HSE compliance, and project quality.

Role requires extensive onshore oil & gas EPC experience and strong coordination with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PMP certification (advantageous).
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in oil & gas construction.
• Minimum 5 years as a Construction Manager on EPC projects.
• Mandatory ADNOC project experience.
• Strong experience in mechanical piping and cross-country pipeline construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mechanical construction activities for piping and pipeline projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, HSE regulations, and quality requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, work procedures, and project documentation.
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues to minimize delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure effective resource planning, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization.
• Manage construction risks and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Oversee testing, pre-commissioning, mechanical completion, and handover activities.
• Prepare progress reports, construction updates, and project documentation for management and clients.
