Job summary

Wood is seeking a qualified Site-Based Subcontract Administrator to support subcontract administration at the project site. This role focuses on managing ancillary subcontract packages, ensuring contractual compliance, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on site.

Ideal candidates will have strong subcontract administration and site operations experience, with familiarity with ADNOC procedures, FIDIC contracts, and on-site procurement and logistics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in subcontract administration and contract management.
• Strong understanding of piping/mechanical construction activities.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and ADNOC standards.
• Hands-on site-based experience with subcontractors and field administration.
• Proficient in variations, claims, change orders, and subcontractor billing.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP, and document control platforms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control mechanical/construction documents and records.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendors for site activity support.
• Track progress and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Manage material receipt, inventory, and equipment tracking.
• Assist in scheduling inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure documentation complies with project procedures and quality standards.
• Support permit-to-work, work packages, and handover processes.
• Maintain RFIs, NCRs, punch lists, and close-out docs.
• Organize meetings and action items; liaise with stakeholders.
• Support HSE compliance and site regulations.
• Coordinate timesheets and manpower reports for mechanical team.
• Assist in project completion and handover to operations.
