Job summary

AECOM Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Site Supervision to oversee mechanical engineering activities on Abu Dhabi construction and industrial sites. You will ensure installations meet approved designs, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules while coordinating with contractors and project teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, a UAE PE or equivalent, and at least eight years of relevant experience including five years in site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; UAE PE licence or equivalent recognised certification.
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in mechanical engineering, including 5+ years in on-site supervision or on-site project management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical engineering activities across construction and industrial sites.
• Coordinate on-site mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Monitor installation of HVAC and mechanical equipment and verify quality workmanship.
• Review technical documentation and approve submissions within responsibility.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support project delivery.
• Lead on-site engineering team and provide technical guidance to ensure safety and quality.
