Confidentiel in Abu Dhabi seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage cross-border shipments within the UAE and GCC. You will coordinate bookings, handle customs docs, and liaise with carriers and forwarders to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires knowledge of Incoterms, freight documentation, and ERP systems such as SAP. Strong coordination, negotiation, and deadline-driven skills are essential for this position.

Formación

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant experience in shipping, logistics, and import/export operations.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and shipping documentation.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding, Incoterms, and customs clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet strict deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate shipment bookings, collections, transportation, and deliveries.
• Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), Certificates of Origin (COO), and delivery orders.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, clearing agents, and freight forwarders.
• Prepare and follow up on customs declarations and clearance documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customs and free-zone requirements.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport companies, and clearing agents.
• Follow up on shipment delays, container movements, and delivery schedules.

• Knowledge about UAE and GCC region + cross border customs processes
• Updated knowledge about geo-political situation in GCC and world (Shipping routes, airlines, sipping lines, etc)
• In depth knowledge about International INCO-TERMS
• In depth knowledge about international payment terms for sourcing and logistics as Letter of Credit etc
• Experience of handling SEA / AIR / COURIER / ROAD FREIGHT – Free zone in GCC and cross border in GCC shipments
• Capability to manage zero demurrage and storage KPI for all imports
