Job summary

Mammoet in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced SHEQ leader to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of our SHEQ management systems on a current ADNOC project in Ruwais. The role focuses on safety, health, environment and quality across site operations.

You will develop project SHEQ documents, lead the team, ensure compliance with laws and contractual obligations, and foster a positive safety culture. English proficiency and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma.
• Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
• 10+ years of SHEQ experience including project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Proven teams leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project SHEQ documents and requirements.
• Lead and advise project team in SHEQ aspects to meet objectives.
• Oversee SHEQ aspects of all Mammoet operations on the project.
• Drive a positive safety culture across project personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, customer requirements, and corporate standards.
• Liaise Mammoet on all SHEQ matters with client and regulators.
• Report to Mammoet regional management on project SHEQ.

SHEQ Manager - Projects for the global leader in heavy lifting and transport.

At Mammoet, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) are at the core of everything we do.

We are looking for an experienced SHEQ leader to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of our SHEQ management systems, policies, and culture across a current ADNOC project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Develop and implement project SHEQ documents and requirements.
• Lead and advise the project team in SHEQ aspects to ensure we meet all Mammoet, legal and contractual SHEQ objectives.
• Oversee SHEQ aspects of all Mammoet operations on the project
• Drive a positive safety culture across the Mammoet project personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, customer requirements, and corporate standards.
• Liaise and represent Mammoet on all project SHEQ matters with client, end user and regulatory personnel.
• Ensure project reporting to Mammoet regional project, operational and SHEQ management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Engineering Degree / diploma
• Qualifications / certifications in Occupational Health & Safety
• Minimum 10 years of relevant SHEQ experience, inclusive of Project SHEQ Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations, management systems, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong analytical, influencing, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
