Job summary

Mammoet, a global leader in heavy lifting and transport, seeks a Team Lead Engineering in Dubai. You will lead a team of engineers, oversee deliverables, and ensure safe, high‑quality solutions for complex projects.

You’ll coordinate resources across projects, review calculations and lift plans, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Operations, Sales and Project Management to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant engineering experience in heavy lifting, construction, offshore, oil & gas, mining or related industries.
• Experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering calculations, risk assessments and international standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers.
• Plan and allocate engineering resources across multiple projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables including calculations, lift plans, drawings and risk assessments.
• Provide technical guidance for complex heavy lifting and transport solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Project Management to deliver safe project outcomes.
• Monitor engineering quality, compliance, performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage departmental reporting, budgets and resource utilization.
