Job summary

Baker Hughes in Abu Dhabi seeks a General Operations Support to coordinate day-to-day activities across purchase orders, parts, repairs, invoicing and reporting to back our Services operations. You will help ensure accurate system updates, timely reporting, and effective collaboration with multiple teams.

You will maintain data integrity, develop reports on parts and repair status, support invoicing, and drive timely follow-up to meet customer commitments and revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of purchase order processes, invoicing, billing and follow-up activities.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; ERP experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Services operations in daily coordination and follow-up of activities.
• Handle purchase order-related activities: tracking, monitoring and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain accurate system data to support visibility, reporting and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain reports on parts status: order progress, availability, delivery updates, pending actions.
• Develop and maintain reports on repair status: repair progress, PO updates, expected completions and invoicing readiness.
• Support invoicing and billing with complete and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with operations, commercial, sourcing, finance and billing to resolve gaps or delays.
• Track open actions on POs, parts, repairs, invoicing, and billing; provide regular updates.
• Ensure timely follow-up on operational requirements to support business execution and revenue recognition.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
